This film tells us a story which is about team work, and human nature. After I watched this film, I knew that when we have some problems that we can’t solve by ourselves, we should ask for help. Because a person is weak when he is alone, but if we work together, we can be strong enough to solve any problem.

And we shouldn’t kill the creatures that are smaller than us, because they do nothing that might hurt us. We should respect the creatures of this world, and care for them.

Thursday, we watched a movie called The Ant Bully. It’s about a boy who always knock down ant nests when he was unhappy. His dad called for an exterminating service. One night, the boy suddenly changed to a size of an ant, and he follows the ant family everywhere, but the ant queen will only let him go if he becomes a true ant. One day, the exterminator comes, they were in big trouble. But the boy has an idea, they should fight together against the ant’s enemy-the bees. They don’t give up and finally fight off the exterminator, and the boy has finally been given the permission to return to his home. In the real world, the boy also makes friends with the boys who were bullying him at first and fight off the leader who bullies children.

This movie tells us: bullying is, without doubt, very wrong. We should care about one another. When we are facing problems, we should unite and fight together. And also, don’t harm animals or insects, they are part of nature, and when they are united, their strength is beyond your imagination.

After I watched the film Wonder, I have many feelings, let me tell you about them.

The first time I saw his face, I was really shocked by it, it does not look good at the beginning, but after I watch it for 20 minutes, I didn’t feel uncomfortable any more. And I began to feel angry when I saw how they were bullying him.

Also, this movie is not the same as other movies, you think the main character is August, but there are also other characters who give you what they think about too and their stories. So I think the main character is every one, because I see their change and their growth. But how did they change? Because of August. So, he is really a wonder, a wonder that changes all the people around him, he makes them better than before. That’s all I want to say.

The movie tells the tale of an African American artist Don Shirley and his bodyguard Tony Vallelonga—an Italian-American working-class white man. Green Book took place while the two men were driving across America during 1962.

At the start of the movie, Tony was a racist. He said hateful, racist words to African American workers and threw away the cups they drank out of. As their road trip went on, they learn from one another and change each other's lives for the better. They discover that they are not that different at all. Everywhere in this film reminds me that people are complicated, but beyond those complications, we are all the same. There is a scene in the movie that Tony and Don get caught by the police because African-American people are not allowed to stay on the street after dark. It makes me wonder why people are so malevolent to African American people. Another scene in the movie solved my confusion, Tony and Don were stopped by the police again. But this time, everything was different. There is something wrong with their car, but the policeman is trying to help them. I felt my heart warm when I saw that part. There is still some kindness in humanity.

The Green Book is truly an inspiring film. I felt like there's good in all people. Color should not define us as people, but rather how we behave and treat others.

The Green Book tells the story of a friendship between a white man and a black man. In those days and the present, racism still exists, especially for black people. At the beginning of the story, Tony loses his job and works as a driver for pianist Donald. Tony would throw the black man’s water glass into the trash can before touching Donald. He accidentally heard the host introduce Donald and found that he was very famous and very gentle, so he began to have different ideas about Donald. The two of them have been through a lot in the past two months, such as someone bullied Donald, Tony will help Donald, and even attacked a police officer for this, which led to being put in jail. Tony gave up his habit of stealing, and Donald became receptive to KFC. In another performance, Tony finds that his piano is not the designated brand of Donald. He insists that the staff exchange the piano for Donald’s designated piano. From this, it can be seen that Tony is a person with the spirit of the contract. In the end, Tony goes back home to have a Christmas party with his family, including Donald. Donald has no family or friends; he would prefer a life like Tony‘s, spending holidays with his family, rather than having money.

The Green Book is mainly about racial discrimination. The man is white, but he doesn’t have a regular job. He has a bad taste, he loves to fight, he likes to crack his mouth. But the black man was a musician. He had a good education and lived an elegant and polite life. Their first meeting was not pleasant. The man is a racist. When he knew he is going to work for a black man, it was very hard to accept. Under the pressure of life, he decided to take the job. Two of different classes met together. The black man was put in jailed twice, and was even beaten twice because he was gay. And the man in life is not a little aggrieved, in his world angry with the fight to solve.

The tacit understanding between real friends is often reflected in mutual respect.

The title comes from the guide who helps Black Americans to travel better in America, the story tells about a famous black musician and an ordinary Italian-American driver travel in the south US and does performance.

The perspective on the world has changed for both of them. Being a racist before, Tony had changed his mind, black people aren’t really different from others. Doctor Shirley finally joins the party with Tony, Why? And there is an interesting point, Doc drives the car eventually. This movie is fascinating, the movie has many details, each detail is just alright. Every story on the road means a change for making two entirely different people become best friends, starts with a car and ends with the same car.

This a miracle, miracle about racism’s death.

Racial discrimination actually seems like an eternal problem among the past few centuries. This is because different people with different cultures also have different perspectives on this sensitive topic. After watching the Green Book, the movie about racism, I'm totally shocked by the importance of racial discrimination.

Before I get in touch with the storyline of Green Book, I thought racism is just something far away from me. As for me, I never experience being racially discriminated against. This fortunate situation might due to that I live in a country full of Chinese. However, in the US or even UK, people who are not white skin are always somehow suffering being racially discriminated by white people, especially for Black Americans and Asians. Between the time the 1650s -1950s, Europeans dominated probably all of the continents in the world. For example, native American actually is Indian, but white eventually dominated their original home and started to chase them out away, and they eventually became the "host." This specific topic is always seen as controversial. In my view, people shouldn't blame the countries that started the war and their civilians because the world belongs to someone who is superior and advanced. In the Green Book, when Doctor Shirley went down to the south of the United States, people started to reject him to use the washroom, and he even lost the right to eat at the ritual restaurants. Those are all the results of losing the wars in the past few centuries.

For Doctor Shirley himself, he is a black person who always wants to gain the same treatments with white people. He is a person who doesn't want to admit his own species. Honestly, there is no denying that he is a well-educated man, and his remarkable reputations and outstanding abilities to be self-controlled have already overcome a huge amount of people in his profession around the world. Unfortunately, he can't change something that he was born with. Here is a sentence I love the most, "So if I'm not black enough, I'm not white enough, I'm not even a man, so tell me, Tony, who am I?" (quoted from Doctor Shirley). This sentence demonstrates that Doctor completely lost himself. He was eager to be treated as a white, but he even ignored that there is nothing wrong with admitting his own color and participate in his "group."

At the end of the movie, Doctor Shirley fully realized how happy he could be even though he put down his dignity. In conclusion, it is impossible to eliminate all of the racists in the future. However, one thing people could do is to acknowledge their color and keep doing something they desire and don't ever waste their time to focus on something unchangeable.
